QuickBooks: The Ins and Outs of Business Bookkeeping, Accounting, and Taxes Online!

A four hour workshop for aspiring, new and established small business owners introducing QuickBooks Online, the new cloud-based version of this wordwide used accounting software for business.  Learn the ins and outs as it relates to bookkeeping, accounting and taxes using QBO.

  • Learn why not to use a shoebox!
  • Review of key bookkeeping and accounting terminology.
  • Know how to properly, effectively and most easily track the money in and out of your business.
  • Ensure compliance with IRS requirements and understand what a deductible is and how to record transactions.
  • Feel confident that you can do your own bookkeeping properly but also trust your accounting professional.
  • Learn the QuickBooks clicks to success, and how what you do within the application can be easier, allowing you to be more profitable, and keep you out of trouble.
  • Reconciling transactions with your bank account - tips and tricks keeping track of vendor bills and invoicing.
  • The reports any small business owner can't live without, and ways to simplify key metrics.

MB (Mary Beth) Raimondi, CPA, CITP, MS Taxation is an Advanced QuickBooks Certified ProAdvisor as well as an Intuit Solution Provider. She holds certifications in QuickBooks Online, Enterprise and POS and is a Sleeter Group Certified Consultant as well as a Group Co-Leader/Instructor for the Woodard Group. She is also a charter member of the Intuit Training/Writing Network. She has used QuickBooks since the DOS version and QuickBooks Online since its inception. She has been teaching QuickBooks nationally to both end users and accountants/consultants since 1999. The focus of her practice in Trumbull, CT has migrated from a full time tax and accounting practice to mainly QuickBooks consulting and training, specializing in strategizing, researching and installing 3rd party add-ons and conversions to QuickBooks from other accounting software. MB was named a Top 10 ProAdvisor, 2015 by Insightful Accountant and Top 100 for 2014-2016.
