2016 LGBT TRAIN THE TRAINER (RECORDED)

Out & Equal uses the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Diversity Leadership training program to break down barriers and fosters communication between LGBT and employees and their co-workers. Employees, diversity and affinity group leaders and human resources professionals can be certified to present the 60-90 minute LGBT Diversity Leadership discussions in the workplace through the Train the Trainer (TTT) course.

The course is designed to help get the most out of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) employees and their coworkers by creating a more comfortable atmosphere within which to work. This training fosters alliances between LGBT and straight employees by opening up communication and developing a healthier workplace. An editable slide deck provided by Out & Equal and support from the Out & Equal Trainer's network provide continued support after the course.

Graduates will receive course materials and are approved to do presentations during 60 minute discussion groups or diversity groups in their workplace. Many of our trainers become more involved and assist Out & Equal certified staff to present trainings including Building Bridges and Train the Trainer at other locations. Certification to teach the LGBT Diversity class is good for two years from course completion.

Prerequisite: Completion of Building Bridges toward LGBT Diversity (3 part online course that is recorded and can be completed on your own schedule prior to the course)

The online Train the Trainer course will be divided into 3 sections:
