GA ITE June 2016 Monthly Meeting

   

When: Thursday, June 9, 2016 from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm; Registration Opens at 11:15 am.

Where: 999 Peachtree Street NE, 5th Floor, Atlanta, GA 30309 (Midtown - SE Corner of 10th and Peachtree), 5th floor conference center. Easy access to Midtown MARTA station (one block west)

Topic: The Bicycle and Pedestrian Movement

Description: Interested in the current movement toward increased bicycle and pedestrian facilities and design? Then come hear from Katelyn DiGioia (GDOT, State Bicycle and Pedestrian Engineer) and Byron Rushing (ARC, Bicycle and Pedestrian Planner) to learn about the importance of bicycle and pedestrian design.

YM Spotlite: Lance Ballard (Kimley-Horn and Associates) is the current Georgia Section ITE webmaster and avid beekeeper.

Early Cost/Registration: $25 Private Sector Member, $15 Public Sector Members, $10 Life Members, $10 Job Seekers, $35 for non-Members.  On-line registration via the ITE website (link below) ends on Monday, June 6th at midnight, or once the room limit is reached (highly likely).

Late Cost/Registration: Walk-ups are welcome at the door as space allows; walk-ups and late registrants will be charged $5 extra.

Menu: Assorted sandwiches, chips, dessert, and drinks; veggie/gluten free option available.

• Attached Deck: $10 for 2 hrs via Peachtree Pl
• Deck: $6 for 2 hrs: access via 8th or Peachtree Pl
