The Autism Society of Southeastern Wisconsin is proud to welcome back to Milwaukee the internationally acclaimed Autism activist, Dr. Temple Grandin.
Dr. Grandin is a fascinating and engaging presenter. She is an Autism Activist, a doctor of animal science, a professor at Colorado State University, a bestselling author of multiple books, one of Time Magazine's "2010 Top 100 Most Influential People in the World" (hero category), and the subject of an Emmy Award winning film about her life and accomplishments. She has an uncanny ability to truly communicate about Autism Spectrum Disorders in a way that everyone can understand.
Join us at The Italian Conference Center on Friday, September 2, 2016 for this great event. Doors will open at 7:45 a.m. for registration, browsing the vendors and networking. In addition, a selection of Dr. Grandin's books will be available for purchase. A sit-down breakfast will be served at 8:30 a.m. Dr. Grandin's talk about how parents and professionals can help spectrum kids become successful adults will follow at 9:00 a.m.. After the presentation, Dr. Grandin will be available for book signings.
