During this workshop, students get a lesson in microbiology and learn the fundamentals of vegetable lacto-fermentation, including process, equipment and cleaning. Attendees will leave with recipes and a jar of veggies ready for home fermentation. The workshop will be led by Kimi Ceridon, longtime friend and farm supporter, who is an experienced pickler, preserver and all-around expert homesteader!
