The Training:

Four months of Brain Training activities to improve your brain. This is the same way you will be training your students brains. You will be a product of the product. In order to pass the training program, there will be a pre and post test to prove that you improved your brain.

Many people also use the training to help their own brain or their child's brain. Others use the information they learned to help students in the schools where they work.

After the training is over, we will supply you with a page on our website, templates for business cards and brochures, training manual, and ongoing support.

During the first year of training classes, our coaches improved their long term memory by over 18 percentile points!

Brain Advancement Coaching incorporates the Pyramid of Potential.

FAQ:

How do I get clients?

You will have a personal website with your name on it, and on our website there is a tab for locating a coach. Some of your clients will come to you because of our website. The Pyramid of Potential website currently has about 2000 people visiting it per week. People are looking for you.

Beyond that we have many suggestions about who to network with. There are many professionals whose clients need the next step – you. They include psychologists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, vision therapists, local adoption groups and tutoring centers. We give you a template brochure for you to get printed with your personal information that you can leave at their offices. We do not expect that you will need to spend any money advertising – people need you!! 

How much per hour do I make?

We are asking our coaches to charge tutoring rates. It depends on where you are. We are not trying to break the bank, yet you need to be paid too! Since the clients see you 5 times per week, you will have a constant income.

Do I travel to them, do they travel to me, where would I do the sessions and how often do they need to be seen? 

You decide with them. I met with people in my home, making them do the travel. The model is that for the last three months you will see them 5 days a week.

Are people willing to pay for it and will insurance cover it?

Yes people will pay. Insurance will not pay. However, the program is only 4 months long, and it is important that you stress that there is a limit and that we are not trying to string the customers along. Many other professionals are charging triple what we are, for less training.

Cost Commitment:

$500 for training

$441 for materials from Pyramid of Potential

$150 for additonal materials purchased on own (approximately)

$50 a month for four months for other programs that will be used during training

$100 annual fee starting 1 year  after graduation for ongoing support and website maintenance

Once all of these are purchased, you will no longer need to purchase any additional materials because you will have all that you need for the training and all the materials for being a coach and training your students. Your students will purchase materials from our website directly, so you will not have to hold onto any inventory. When your students recieve their materials, they will be ready for their training. The cost for the students will be $242 plus the price you will be charging per hour for the training. 

Time Commitment:

One hour a day, 5 to 7 days a week for four months plus one support call a week. Pre and post testing to determine your improvement, this should take about a half hour each.

Hi Kathy,

Your voice makes the sessions addicting, since it is so pleasant and your personality is very engaging. The setting is great, I love the little lamp in the background- a little warmth, but not too distracting. I am sharing the program with a few teachers and a para, and when things slow down at school I will share with supervisors as well. 

 The videos have been very good.  My speed evens out with yours, sometimes I am faster, sometimes slower, many times I have said it at the same time as you have. 

With the Set Cards and the Stroop arrows I went to saying all 3 features (set) and color/direction (Stroop) right away. I found them very easy to do, especially when I had a rhythm, not necessarily set by the metronome. When I do numbers forward and backward with my students as part of the Test of Auditory Processing, most kids need the pace to be quick so that they can remember and say all the numbers and more.  I can see where slowing down and remembering larger chunks, and/or having to sequence during the longer intervals could be challenging for them. 

While I am not formally training one person, I am using the activities with students and showing my family some of them as well. It is a lot of fun.......  I will have results as we continue to use them. 

Materials:

When you register, you will recieve the Brain Advancement Kit. Included in this kit are the following items:

•   Equipping Minds Student Workbook

•   Equipping Minds Training DVD

•   Gibson Pre-Test

•   Gibson Post-Test

Additional materials will need to be accuired in order to start the next three months of training. We ask for you to be in possession of each one by the completion of the first month of training. All materials are needed in order for the continuation of training and ultimately graduate as a Brain Advancement Coach. The Brain Advancement Kit with each of those materials will be everything you will need to pass the training. 

If you already own a product from the Brain Advancement Kit, let us know, we will be able to deduct the cost of that product so you will not have duplicates and to save a little extra.

You will be given 60 on-line videos to train your brain during the last 3 months.
