Simplifying QuickBooks 

The Workshop will introduce QuickBooks as a tool for storing transaction data for a business or businesses. The client will become familiar with the interface for data entry and the reports to aid tax preparation and to monitor financial status. The different versions of QuickBooks will be compared, so the client can choose from those offered. The client will be prepared for individual sessions to help set up a company in QuickBooks and begin the data entry process.

The workshop includes about an hour of short, online tutorials that introduce the interface and concepts with additional time for commentary and discussion. It will be important to determine why the client wants to use QuickBooks and whether their version should be online or desktop.
