Stuff Your Stocking: Fabric Alphabet, Pocket Warmers and Key Rings

As one of our daughter's says on the 4th of July, "Christmas is tomorrow!" Pretty close, anyway. Use this week to knock out a bit of your Christmas list. Or maybe just a gift list for any time of year. Or maybe just some fun stuff for yourself. Either way, each day is packed with multiple projects, and lots of fun! Pick which projects you want to do each day, or make one of each- it's all up to you.

A while back I got a set of fabric letters from my friend for one of our grandchildren. She loves the letters, and everytime I show them to anyone, they get a bit excited about them. We have more grandchildren, and I want to make a set for our house, so I say let's make some letters! This tutorial at Owl Baby is very helpful, although I am hoping to have my Sizzix machine by the time we do this event and will be able to jut cut them out electronically. Stay tuned, I will keep you updated.

I love the idea of these handwarmers, especially for littles waiting at the bus, or college students walking to class. These are shaped as hearts, but really, and shape will do. Go to Practically Functional to get the basics of what you need for this project. Pretty much scrap fabrics and rice.
