2016 Annual Meeting and Statewide Training

The 2016 Annual Meeting and Statewide Training will be held at Tan-Tar-A Resort in Osage Beach from August 31-September 2.  Although the agenda is still being developed, this conference will feature programs of interest to Missouri prosecutors and their assistant prosecutors, including an ethics session and the case law update.

As it did last year, the conference will feature a track dedicated to topics of interest to support staff.  We will also have a child support track this year.

The Fourth Annual President's Reception and Awards Banquet will be held on Wednesday, August 31.  At this event, the Missouri Association of Prosecuting Attorneys will present several awards including Prosecutor of the Year and Outstanding Support Staff, among others.  To properly recognize the award winners, we ask that you dress in at least business attire for this event.

Registration fees:
MAPA Members (this includes any dues paying prosecuting attorney, their assisant prosecutors and staff; any former elected prosecuting attorney; Assistant Attorneys General; U.S. Attorneys and their assistants; and any dues paying full-time municipal prosecutors): $200.00

Non-MAPA Members (this includes any non-dues paying prosecutor, their assistant prosecutors and staff; attorneys for any other state or federal agency; and law enforcement officers):  $250.00

Please be advised that all registration fees are non-refundable and cannot be credited toward any future event.

A block of rooms has been reserved at Tan-Tar-A at a rate of $89 per night.  Reservations can be made by calling 800-826-8272.  Reservations must be made by August 9, 2016, to guarantee this rate.

Family members and guests are welcome to attend meal functions during the conference.  For the President's Reception and Awards Banquet, the cost will be $40.00 per person.  For all other meal functions, the cost will be $15 per person per function.  Payment for guest meals can be made by separate check, made payable to MAPA, and mailed as indicated above.  Please indicate which functions you are paying for when you send your check.
