Rev. Dr. Dennis Bickers taking from his book, "Intentional Ministry in a Not-So-Mega Church", will discuss the benefits of a missionally focused church and outline some steps central to the shift from maintenance to mission. 

Dr. Bickers will describe the role of vision in this process and how the congregational vision is developed. 

Additionally, some direction will be offered as how to encourage those in the congregation who resist this change. 

Finally, churches will be able to participate in deciding practical next steps in the process of shifting their perspective.
