October 25, 2016 - Tenants' Rights Workshop
The workshop covers a wide variety of issues and problems that tenants often face. Topics include: Rent control and eviction protections provided by the Berkeley Rent Ordinance, security deposit return, dealing with habitability problems, breaking leases, resolving roommate issues, mediating landlord/tenant disputes, and petitioning for a rent reduction through the Rent Board.
