Companies needing cost-effective solutions to shorten or eliminate downtime and reduce data loss often seek out “high availability” (HA) solutions.   Neal Luhman of Sungard Availability Services will highlight different methodologies for recovery solutions and the challenges inherent in each.  HA solutions do not guarantee uptime, and Neal will discuss specific solutions with real-world examples of how risk can be identified and mitigated.
