GENERAL INFORMATION:
The25th Annual MAFP Family Medicine Update is presented by the Maine Academy of Family Physicians to provide ongoing quality education for family physicians through didactic lectures and breakout sessions on practical subjects.   

 Hotel Room Resevations:
The MAFP has reserved a block of rooms at the Hilton Garden Inn  at the special rate of $99.00. To receive the special group rate you must tell the reservations clerk that you are attending the Maine Academy of Family Physicians 2017 Annual Meeting or use the on-line registration link below. For other rates (suites, etc), please call the hotel directly - 207-865-1433

Registration Refund Policy: 

A full refund less a $45 administrative fee will be issued to prepaid registrants unable to attend when requested in writing.  Refund requests must be in writing. ***Refund Deadline – postmarked or emailed by March 15th***

Child Care:
The MAFP discourages bringing children into educational events because it could be a distraction to the attendees' learning experience.  Please make arrangements for your own individual childcare.  Children and adult guests are welcome at the Party on Thursday evening – see registration form for guest ticket prices.

Post-Conference Workshop:  Opioid Educational Outreach

Welcome to newly-designed CME, created by & for practicing clinicians, modeled to change practice behaviors with a patient-centered perspective and focused on combating the defining public health crisis of our generation.

This 3-hour workshop will include “blitz” didactics, multi-media components, case-based studies, and small group discussions.

Other physicians and health professionals, including Dentists and Veterinarians may also attend – see the registration form for fees.

*This workshop will fulfill Maine Licensure requirements for Opioid CME as required by Chapter 488 law effective 2017 for all disciplines*
