Another great SCORE Seminar:

How to De-Risk Your Business Concept

This seminar will focus on the critical elements of a business or business idea that entrepreneurs and business owners must assess to reach a substantiated decision and reduce the risks associated with any startup or growth plans. Essentially, we'll cover a structured planning process to methodically explore those elements, as they apply to your business or concept and create a solid "safety net" that will increase your odds, reduce frustration, prevent the loss of capital and maximize potential profitability.

SCORE mentors will show you how to use that process to “bench test” your concept before you commit significant capital to the business.

The seminar fee is $45 ($25 for Greater Vancouver Chamber of Commerce members). To encourage active class participation, the class is limited to twelve registrants and you can followup with SCORE’s always-free individual business mentors.

Carlos Gonzalez will serve as your SCORE course leader for this workshop. A chemical engineer by training, Carlos is a retired international executive of The Dow Chemical Company and a former general manager of a petrochemical company in Argentina. He was also a former founder and owner of an international business consulting company. Carlos, as a volunteer member of the SCORE Vancouver Chapter has been mentoring businesses for the past 14 years.
