Battle of the Chefs Wine Pairing Dinner
The “Battle of the Chefs” Wine Pairing Dinner, hosted by Two Old Hags Wine Shoppe will benefit the Leesburg Center for the Arts on Friday, August 5 at the Leesburg Opera House. The evening will feature fine wine, fine food, and fine art. A five course dinner will be prepared by Chef Jessy Flinn of Gourmet Today and Chef Victor Donahey of Vic's Embers with wine pairings, silent auction, live auction, and a special commentary and judging on the competing plates.
Guests will choose in advance which Chef will prepare their meal. Their menus are as follows:
Chef Jessy Flinn
- Seared Ahi Tuna served with a creamy Asian sauce and crispy garnish.
- Mixed green salad with blackberry balsamic vinaigrette, crispy green apples, feta cheese, walnuts and pickled red onions.
- Crawfish risotto with a Cajun butter and scallions.
- Caribbean crusted Filet Mignon with tropical chutney, crispy plantains and lemon broccoli rabe.
- White chocolate cheesecake mousse with raspberry and pomogranate.
Chef Victor Donahey
- Grilled shrimp cocktail with a habenero and mango salsa.
- Chilled strawberry bisque.
- Thai beefsteak salad
- Herb and mustard crusted Rack of Lamb.
- Lemon Delights with fress berries and cream.
Wine Pairing will be as follows for each course:

- Broken Dreams Chardonnay
- Sexual Chocolate
- 75 Cabernet
- The Sum Red Blend
