Support / Discussion Group for Parents of Boys - Tweens/Teens (ages 9-14) - with
an Asperger Profile
This group provides the opportunity for parents to discuss issues that affect boys on the Asperger/Autism spectrum as they enter puberty. We'll share our experiences and brainstorm helpful resources and strategies.
Topics may include:
- Helping our sons navigate tween/teen friendships.
- Helping our sons manage their strong emotions.
- Helping them make choices that promote physical and psychological safety.
- Reinforcing their sense of self-esteem at a challenging time.

Cost*: $120 for the first family member; $60 for one additional family
member (same address). Active membership is REQUIRED.
*Please note: Last year a generous foundation grant allowed us
to charge less for our support groups; this year we do not.
However, please do not hesitate to contact AANE if you will
need financial assistance in order to participate in the program.
