The attendee of this class will understand the importance of maintaining water quality while installing or operating valves, hydrants, servic laterals and meters.  We will have cutaway valves and hydrants to understand how each works and how repairs to them can be made with the least amount of service interruption.  Different types of valves, their uses, proper operation and maintenance of fire hydrants and details on properly installing a water service lateral will all be covered in this class.  Lunch is included.
