The EMPOWER Series presented by Comerica Bank is a FREE monthly financial coaching and counseling workshop series (Underwritten by Comerica Bank and put on by the National Association of Black Accountants - DFW Chapter ) where a local or national guest speaker shares their inspiring personal story of empowerment and/or covers a financial literacy topic. The series began at Southern Methodist University (SMU) in March 2011; moved to the University of Texas at Dallas (UTD) from April 2011 to December 2012; moved to Cedar Valley College (CVC) from January 2013 to November 2014; and beginning January 2015 is now being held at Highland Hills Public Library. The workshops are held on the 3rd Saturday of each month from 10:00 am to 12:00pm. Additional information about upcoming workshops are available at www.empowerseries.com.
