40 Under 40 Emerging Nurse Leader Awards 

The Event will recognize 40 outstanding nurses in Illinois under 40. We want to celebrate and encourage exemplar dedication to the nursing profession, dedicated service within the community and the promise to grow in leadership for the advancement of nursing in Illinois.

When:

  • 5:00 P.M. - 6:30 P.M. --  Main Lounge - Networking with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres
  • 6:30 P.M. - 7:30 P.M. --  Recognition event 
  • 7:30 P.M - 8:00 P.M. -- Coffee and Dessert

Cost:

Registration fee is $25.00. Award recipients will attend complimentary.

Purpose of the Award

Recognition and acknowledgement of 40 outstanding nurses in Illinois under the age of 40 is intended to celebrate dedicated service to the population, encourage exemplar dedication to the nursing profession, and promise to grow in leadership for the advancement of nursing in Illinois.
 
This is the 2nd year for the 40 Under 40 Awards, designed to recognize 40 Illinois Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN’s), Registered Nurses (RN’s) or Advanced Practice Nurses (CNP, CNMW, CNS, CRNA) under the age of 40 who are positively representing the nursing profession by actively participating in the community or a professional organization.

The award is designed to recognized nurses in Illinois who demonstrate exemplary professional practice along with community engagement and/or advocacy on behalf of the profession and those we serve. 

INF is transforming healthcare through the power of nursing. We are working to make healthcare affordable and nurses more accessible. We are problem solving, generating new ideas, and creating a framework to promote a more positive experience within the healthcare sector.
