Jump In to the next steps of ngss for 6-8 teachers (704/6800) 

This is the first of two offerings in the 16/17 fiscal year for the 'Jump In' Course for 6-8 Teachers.

Continue your journey in the exploration of the NGSS as activities are used to deepen your understanding of how to transition from the 1998 standards to the NGSS Performance Expectations. This hands-on workshop will build upon introductory activities experienced in Jump Start or the equivalent. Specific sample 3D lessons will be experienced and time will be provided to help teachers evaluate their materials and see how they can be adjusted to meet the demands of NGSS.

Workshop fee of $125.00 includes all materials, continental breakfast, and lunch.

Breakfast and sign-in are at 8:30am and the workshop will begin promptly at 9:00am.
