'Jump Start' NGSS Beginners Course for TK-5 Teachers, 2nd Offering (704/6800) 

Explore how to navigate the Next Genration Science Standards! Introductory activities will be used to explore the shifts and deepen your understanding from the 1998  standards to the NGSS performance expectations. The three dimensions of NGSS include the Science and Engineering practices, Disciplinary Core Ideas, and Crosscutting Concepts. These three dimensions will be experienced as they relate to classroom lessons and instruction.

Workshop fee of $125 includes all materials, continental breakfast, and lunch.
