Presentation and discussion by legal, insurance company and risk control professionals on current trends in the area of RISK which will be of interest interest to architect*, engineering and environmental firms.  Panelists will present and discuss business practices to help your firm mitigate risk and improve performance.  *Seminar qualifies for 3.0 AIA learning units.   

Seminar will include breakfast and lunch to be followed by golf (optional) at Pelican Hill - One of Golf Digest's Top 100 Public Courses.

Tim Corbett  Founder and President of SmartRisk, Tim has extensive experience developing and implementing risk and performance management programs for architects, engineers, environmental consultants, and building professionals.

Larry Griffin   Claims Manager, Beazley.  Beazley is one of the leaders in Archtect, Engineer and Environmental firms worldwide.   Drawing upon his experience representing clients in complex toxic tort matters at a leading international law firm based in Chicago, Larry works closely with Beazley’s insureds to develop and implement innovative strategies to resolve claims as well as incidents that may lead to claims reported by Beazley insureds. 

Brian K. Stewart, Esq.  Partner, Collins Collins Muir + Stewart, LLP.  Brian handles predominantly professional liability and catastrophic injury matters.  He represents professionals in all aspects of their professional practice with an emphasis in representation of design professionals including contract review and negotiation, mediation, arbitration, and trial.
