New NYC Energy Conservation Code -WORKING SEMINAR

Game Changing Initiatives:  Join Green Building Worldwide for two dynamic CEO to CEO Roundtables being held on Thursday, August 18 and August 25, 2016.  The roundtables will discuss recent New York City Energy Conservation Code & NYSERDAs Real Time Energy Management Incentives.   All together, these ECMs have the potential to reduce current building-based emissions by 33 percent, yielding 2.7 billion dollars in energy cost savings and creating approximately 15,000 direct construction-related jobs.

The new NYC EEC will go into effect  in early October, and its impact on Retrofits, capital planning, construction, funding and compliance will be highlighted. Registration is required, seating is limited.

The Executive Leadership Roundtable discussion is designed to bring stakeholders from different sectors together to have a solid discourse on building design, energy, infrastructure, and public private partnerships.

These industry discussions inform architects, engineers, contractors, consultants and related professionals on the new energy codes, outline best practices to achieve energy-efficient buildings and compliance.

ROUNDTABLE DISCUSSION TOPICS:

  • Key Building Envelope Requirements of the new Energy Conservation code
  • Integrating CHP
  • Incorporating mandated  Energy Conservation Measures (ECM)
  • The value of the granular energy market
  • Developing Financial pro forma which provides near term and long term lifecycle models
  • Current factors in calculating projected energy savings
  • New NYSERDA $30 million funding available for Real Time Energy Management
  • Working with Board of Directors and Key Stakeholders
  • Helping building owners face a range of competing needs that limit the amount of capital that can be spent on energy efficiency upgrades
