ICCER Networking Event: How do we make Person-Centred Care more than just a task? 

Join the Institute for Continuing Care Education & Research and its Calgary-based member organizations, Bow Valley College, Bethany Care Society, Wing Kei Care Centre, Extendicare and Carewest, for an afternoon of dialogue on Person and Family-Centred Care. An opportunity to network over coffee and snacks included!

2:00-2:15 PM: Introductions - Sandra Woodhead Lyons (ED, ICCER)

2:15-3:30 PM: Presentations - Speakers will discuss the philosophy behind Person and Family-Centred Care, examples of how it has been implemented within the continuing care context, and its potential challenges.

3:30-3:50 PM: Coffee break and networking (food and beverages will be served)

3:50-4:40 PM: Table discussions (rotating) - Each table will have the opportunity to speak more with the presenters and other participants on the topics of the day.

4:40-5:00 PM: Large group discussion to debrief and wrap-up the session.
