Whole Type and the Emergence of Consciousness

Are you interested to learn more about the 8-Function model of psychological type?

 Adam will help us examine

  • the dialogue within the psyche between different types of consciousness
  • how our less preferred types of consciousness express themselves and seek attention
  • how types of consciousness that are ready for development manifest in the world around us

For those of us who use Type for personal use, we'll learn how

  • observing and participating actively in the emergence of our own consciousness is creative and energizing
  • understanding and recognizing how we express the less preferred functins enables us to be more efective and less likely to undercut our own work

Those who use Type professionally will learn that

  • familiarity with how less-preferred functions express themselves helps us to more quickly and accurately identify someone's best-fit type
  • understanding of archetypal roles in the psyche offers a basis for helping clients with type development

This presentation is geared to Intermediate and Advanced levels of Type learners.

 

 Adam Frey is an MBTIŪ Master Practitioner. He has taught  psychological types to business and psychology groups in the U.S.  and China. A lifetime student of management and the arts, Adam  has held leadership positions in the for-profit and not-for-profit  music industry and has served the C.G. Jung Institute of San  Francisco at different times as a board member and an  organizational and fundraising consultant. Adam has written about  psychological types for Personality Type in Depth and the Bulletin of Psychological Type. He is a past president of BAAPT and received the 2015 Excellence in Leadership Award from the Association for Psychological Type International. Adam has ISFJ preferences.
