Northern New England Campus Compact Action Planning Institute 

Vermont Campus Compact, Campus Compact for New Hampshire, and Maine Campus Compact are excited to host the Northern New England Campus Action Planning Institute at Colby-Sawyer College on October 11, 2016.

This workshop will support campuses who have signed the Campus Compact 30th Anniversary Action Statement as they explore bold opportunities for growth in their civic commitments. After an introduction to the statement, teams will identify promising strategies, consult with regional colleagues, and commit to action steps to further their plan.

Each campus should recruit teams of up to five to attend the Institute.  These teams should include one or two individuals who have administrative oversight or a leadership role in campus strategic planning, such Chief Academic Officers, Deans, and/or Vice Presidents.  The agenda will be as follows:

Campus Action Planning Institute
10am-2pm

• 10:00-10:30: Introduction to the Campus Compact Action Statement (Andrew Seligsohn, President of Campus Compact)
• 10:30 – 11:15: Strengths and Opportunities Brainstorm
• 11:15 – 12:00: Cross-Campus Dialogue  - Learning from each other’s Strengths
• 12:00-12:30: Lunch with Campus Compact Representatives from  your State
• 12:30-1:30: Action Planning Work Session
• 1:30-2:00: Resources and on-going support

The cost of attendance is $25 per person, which includes lunch.  Campus teams do not need to be from Maine, New Hampshire, or Vermont to attend.  Please direct any questions or concerns to Kim at kim@vermonthec.org.
