Spincycle Slip Stitch Cowl--August 15 5:30-7pm 

The Spincycle Clementine Cowl is a great cowl to practice your slip stitch skills on. This cowl has the look and fun of a stranded color work project but with the cleverness of slip stitches you are only working with one strand of yarn per row at a time. This makes this project the perfect companion for road trips, movie theaters and television knitting.

Slip stitch knitting can be complex or simple. No matter how you use this technique you will be able to create maximum impact with the least effort. When combined with Spincycle's Dyed in the Wool yarn the slip stitches bring out the complementing and contrasting tones and is sure to stun anyone who sees it on you! 

Materials: US6 24" Circular needle, 2 skeins of Spincycle Dyed in the Wool, 1 stitch marker

Homework: Using long tail cast on, cast on 176 stitches with your Contrast Color and join to knit in the round. Be careful that this is not twisted. K2, P2 Rib for 10 Rounds.
