After graduating from Baylor Law School in 1979, Laura Fowler began her career as a Navy JAGC chasing saboteurs and scoundrels through exotic ports in East Asia and the Western Pacific. Since returning to Texas in 1983, she has confined herself to avenging and defending the rights of many wonderful people and institutions in the state and federal courts of Texas. Her greatest calling, however, is to help her clients design ways to never see the inside of a courtroom.She is the founder and owner of The Fowler Law Firm P.C., located in both Austin and Georgetown, Texas, with twenty one (2) attorneys and nine (9) support staff who daily serve the legal needs of a large and delightful group of clients. She serves the legal needs of many realtors, as legal counsel to Williamson County Association of Realtors, as an external counsel to Texas Association of Realtors and as a teacher and trainer for many professional associations. The Fowler Law Firm is the largest woman owned law firm in Austin according to The Austin Business Journal. Ms. Fowler is a designated 2016 Best Lawyers in the United States.
When not practicing law, she is the devoted wife of Robert Penn Fowler, a retired Navy Captain and Lawyer who will eternally outrank her!
