Free Children's Event at the Library. Watch a Demonstration & Meet Acclaimed Children's Book Illustrator Jerry Pinkney on November 13th

Join us Sunday, November 13th for a kid friendly event with acclaimed children's book illustrator Jerry Pinkney.  Mr. Pinkney will provide a demonstration of his work and speak to the group about both the struggles and strengths of having dyslexia.

Mr. Pinkney's presentation will be geared toward kids ages 6 and above.  Adults will remain on the periphery of the room, kids will sit on the floor in the center to hear the presentation.

Mr. Pinkney is the winner of the prestigious Caldecott Medal among 100's of other awards.  Signed copies of his books, The Lion and the Mouse and The Christmas Boot will be available for purchase.

This event is first come first served at the door.  But we request that you register both kids and adults so we can determine the most appropriate size room for the event.  Advanced registration does not guarantee entry to the event, so arrive early.
