The Mosaic Meeting: An Exploration of the Freedom's Way National Heritage Area Landscape

Join us in a daylong exploration and conversation investigating the landscape of Freedom's Way to understand how, as a mosaic of natural beauty, the area has evolved throughout time, inspiring multiple generations to live on, care for and preserve the land.

Please note the following updated schedule including the change in arrival time to 10:00 am for those of you joining us on the field exploration.

 The Mosaic Meeting Morning Field Exploration begins at 10:00 AM at the National Heritage Area headquarters at Devens with a Coffee and an introduction to Theme One: The Mosaic of Subtle Beauty and the premiere of a new film showcasing the region's diverse natural resources, produced by Electa Tritsch, Director of Oakfield Productions. Facilitated field excursions will be guided by Cherrie Corey and Brad Bennett (lunch included), and will reconvene at Devens at 3:00 pm for a conversation and refreshments. 

Those attending the Annual Meeting are welcome to arrive at 3:00 pm for refreshments and to view the Mosaic Video. A presentation by Richard T. T. Forman, Harvard University Research Professor and author will begin at 4:00 pm, followed at 5:00 pm by the FWHA Annual Meeting. The day will conclude with a light supper of local foods fresh from the land.
