How to Deal With Difficult Behavior

Difficult/challenging behaviors can disrupt an organization, inflame dissatisfaction and add stress to the workplace. Many people are intimidated by these behaviors and try to avoid them, which usually makes the disruption worse. This webinar will present frameworks for better understanding what’s behind difficult behaviors and some simple and powerful strategies for addressing them. These strategies can be applied when dealing with a wide range of challenging behaviors; including congregants, clients, co-workers, employees, supervisors, acquaintances and even relatives.

In this webinar you will learn how to:

  • Defuse emotionally charged situations
  • Better manage your emotions when responding to difficult situations
  • Identify “innocent” causes of many conflicts
  • Facilitate collaborative problem solving to resolve conflicts
  • Successfully manage difficult behavior

You will also learn about differences in communication styles, your own style, and how to adapt to better connect with others.

If you register for this webinar, you’ll get a free link to our on-line self-assessment to help you better understand your approach to communication and conflict resolution, and how others might differ.
