Greetings!

Join us for the next Oak Creek Watershed Restoration Plan meeting on August 30, 5:30-7:00 p.m. in Oak Creek Civic Center’s Multipurpose Room, 8040 S. 6th Street, Oak Creek. SEWRPC staff will give a presentation on goals for the meeting and attendees will break out into small groups based on geography to discuss restoration priorities and projects.

AGENDA

  • SEWRPC staff will give a short introductory presentation on goals for the meeting
  • Attendees will break out into small groups based on geography to discuss their ideas of restoration priorities and projects in the Oak Creek watershed. Large scale aerial photos of the subwatersheds will be available for documenting problem locations and potential restoration project areas.

              The geographic areas are:

                   1.  Lower Oak Creek mainstem subwatershed (South Milwaukee and Cudahy)

                   2.  Middle and Upper Oak Creek mainstem subwatersheds (Oak Creek and Franklin)

                   3.  North Branch Oak Creek subwatershed (Oak Creek, Milwaukee, and Greenfield)

                   4.  Mitchell Field Drainage Ditch subwatershed (Oak Creek and Milwaukee)
