Objectives:
1.
Discuss an overview of the pathophysiology related to cardiovascular disease in women
2.
Develop a strategy for efficient diagnosis and treatment planning for cardiovascular disease in women
3.
Develop strategies to assess pregnancy complications that potentially lead to increased risk of cardiovascular disease and care management
4.
Discuss and recognize gender and sex differences in women presenting with symptoms of atrial fibrillation
5.
Develop strategies for providing the appropriate anticoagulant for atrial fibrillation in female patients

The Fort Wayne Medical Education Program is accredited by the Indiana State Medical Association to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

The Fort Wayne Medical Education Program designates this live activity for a maximum of 2.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of
their participation in the activity.

Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evalution component, enables the participant to earn up to 2.0 MOC points in the American Board of internal Medicine's (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. Participants will earn MOC points equivalent to the amount of CME credits claimed for the activity.
