Documentary Screening & Discussion 

"When the Bough Breaks" is an Emmy Award-winning documentary about the children of mothers in prison by accomplished filmmaker (and SOS Member) Jill Evans Petzall. This film looks at this complex issue and questions who does the harder time, the inmate mothers or their children? Please join us for a screening and discussion of the film.

Petzall will introduce the film and answer questions during the discussion afterward.

Let’s Start, a previous SOS grantee whose work with incarcerated mothers & children is featured in the documentary, will also be present.

Light snacks and wine will be served.

BUDER STUDENT COMMONS (Bldg #5 on map) is easy to access
from the Conway Road Entrance with free parking in the
“General” parking lots. Guests will enter the building marked
BUDER COMMONS and will enter immediately into the gathering
room.
