Welding & Waffles Seminar: Plasma Cutting & Gouging 

General Air is excited to introduce to Denver and surrounding areas the plasma cutting and gouging expertise of Hypertherm's Jim Aitkenhead. Jim's resume includes 17 years with Hypertherm and decades of experience in the fabrication and manufacturing world. 

This seminar will cover the advantage of plasma gouging over grinding, oxy-fuel and carbon arc gouging from a practical, environmental and cost standpoint. Jim will also discuss two newely patended Hyperterm technologies:

FlashCut, which features a torch designed to cut and gouge in a perpendicular manner relative to the work piece. Jim will explain the many applications to which FlashCut applies.

High Acess Extended Reach consumables, which can be retrofitted to most Hypertherm systems to provide the maximum extension for both cutting and gouging in a variety of applications.
