Young Forest Habitat Hike at Highland Farm Preserve

Join us and Center for Wildlife to learn why young forest habitat benefits so many species. Come pet Harry the Porcupine, see animals like hawks and turtles and learn how habitat supports the animals that live there. Take a hike with us on the trails to see what this habitat looks like and who lives there. This program is part of the “Take to the Woods October” series developed by Forest Works! to get people out into the forest.

Advanced registration is necessary.  This event is free to YLT members.  Non-members are asked to consider a $5 donation per person/$10 per group donation.  Program size is limited to the first 25 participants.
