Speaker Bios

Theodora Sergiou - The acting vice president and COO of Nicholas Pools Inc. and a recognized leader in the industry. She was honored in 2015 by the Professional Women in Construction as a Woman of Distinction. In 2014, she was named by New Jersey Monthly magazine as a Top 25 Leading Woman Entrepreneur and Business Owner featured in the Forbes special New Jersey Women Business Leaders section, and often interviewed or asked to be a guest speaker. Theodora is an adjunct professor of marketing and management at Georgian Court University. She holds a MS of business administration from Rider University and a BS from Georgian Court University.

Bonnie Kantor - President of Pressing Issues, a professional web solutions and digital marketing agency located in Metuchen, NJ. She is a geek disguised as a people-person with an area of expertise in social media marketing—Facebook, Twitter, Linked In and more. A Constant Contact Master-Certified Authorized Local Expert, she has been using email marketing and social media tools to help her clients stay top-of-mind for more than eight years. Bonnie presents regularly about email marketing and social media to small business owners, non-profit staff and employees. In addition, Bonnie is a BNI Director-Consultant. In that role, she presents at large trainings and at many chapter meetings throughout Middlesex County.

Andrew Beamon - Director of Field Operations at SCORE. He oversees several critical national initiatives including growing the number of clients SCORE serves, improving the quality of mentoring services, and managing the annual client and mentor engagement surveys. In the past he led SCORE’s response to Hurricane Sandy under a $2.5 million grant from the US Small Business Administration, implementing programs to help affected small businesses get up and running more quickly. He holds a BA from North Carolina Central University and a Masters in Organizational Psychology from University of Hartford.

Nathalia Giraldo - Director of Financial Programs Regional Business Assistance Corporation RBAC. Responsible for strengthening RBAC’s financial position and growth, its resources to help individuals enhance their skills and to generate income that builds greater corporate assets, by actively promoting our core lending programs, the SBA Microloan, SBA Community Advantage and SBA 504,and at the same time managing the growing portfolio.
