Presenter: Rusty Bennett
Mr. Bennett has over 25 years of marketing, sales, and business development experience in the consumer electronics and telecommunications industries. Most recently, Mr. Bennett was the Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Soundcast Systems, a San Diego based wireless audio start-up.
Mr. Bennett developed and managed the sales force, the marketing strategy, and much of the new product development for Soundcast. Before Soundcast he worked at Phoenix Gold International, Portland, OR, where he was responsible for Phoenix Gold Car Audio and Accessories, Carver Professional amplifiers, AudioSource amps and speakers, and the re-entry of Carver into the home theater market.
Previously, Mr. Bennett has held senior sales and marketing positions at companies such as Seiko, Aiwa, and Panasonic. Throughout his career he has built sales organizations, directed product development, managed trade show entries, both domestically and internationally, and he has directed advertising and market research teams. He also has served in key management roles in several other startup companies, including Virtual Vision and the Oswego Group.
