Do you want to develop your leadership skills while helping to strengthen local nonprofits?

The Nonprofit Leadership Initiative invites you to attend a free informational networking event to learn how your experience can strengthen our local nonprofits by serving on a board or committee.  You will receive information to guide you in how to help our community by volunteering for a nonprofit.

Nonprofit Leadership is a Community Foundation for the Fox Valley Region-led partnership of Fox Valley-area nonprofits, funders, educational institutions and businesses dedicated to providing resources needed by effective nonprofit board and executive directors.

This event will focus on a few local nonprofits whose core mission involves Mental Health.

Schedule:

5:00 - 7:00 p.m. - Appetizers, limited bar, networking

5:45 - Short presentation followed by meet & greet

We have invited board representatives from:

• Catalpa Health
• CHAPS Academy
• Friendship Place
• NAMI Fox Valley
• Samaritan Counseling Center of the Fox Valley

Information will be provided on how board or committee service to a nonprofit:

• improves the strength and quality of the services nonprofits provide;
• as well as develops your leadership skills to enhance your career.
