Episcopal Youth Community: EYC is the usual name for youth groups in the Episcopal Church, both at the parish and diocesan levels. In the Episcopal Diocese of Southern Virginia, seasonal weekend retreats are offered at Camp Chanco for both middle and high school youth. These events are largely designed by the EYC Board, a group of teens who have been elected to serve as leaders in the community. EYC weekends provide a special opportunity to make connections to the wider Episcopal Church in a welcoming, positive, energetic and faith-filled environment.
Please register online, but be sure to bring completed and signed copies of the following forms with you to the weekend: Youth Ministry Community Covenant and Youth Event Registration and Permission Form (youth participants) or Adult Leader Information Form for Youth Events (adult advisors 18 and up).
