Who should attend?

Students with AD/HD, autism and learning differences are often considered "too high functioning" for state funded resources, yet they still require support in order to become productive adults.  Gateway Academy’s Transition Symposium will feature speakers with expertise in areas impacting transition to adulthood.  Those who attend the Symposium will learn actionable steps to support growth of pivotal skills and competencies inherent in this growing population.  This symposium is relevant to those for whom college, adult independent living and/or vocational careers are attainable with the proper structure and support.

Parents, Educators, High School Students, Young Adults, Mental Health Professionals, Physicians, Occupational Therapists, Speech and Language Therapists, Support Service Specialists in College will all benefit from this unique educational program.
