The Agony & The Ecstasy of Working With Your Significant Other - PLUS How To Thrive On A Golfing Odyssey

The morning starts with the joys (or not) of being with your spouse or significant other every day of the week and every hour of every day. Working and living together is fraught with challenges, not the least of which is “who really is the boss” all the way down to who is responsible for taking out the trash – first at the office and then at home.

When a woman assumes the command position in a family business, keeping a relationship together means beating the odds. Couples who work together have a much greater propensity for winding up in divorce court. Our real life panelists currently work with their spouses/significant others and all have found the coping mechanisms to keep the business and the relationship together.

The second half of the program will be a fun look at using golf as a business development tool. It’s not about hitting the ball 300 yards down the middle of the fairway – but it is about knowing the lingo, the etiquette, the tools, the carts, the scoring, and of course how to play bingo-bango-bongo. Being comfortable on a golf course provides you the opportunity to spend time with clients, prospects and strategic partners.

Women are very late in understanding the value of networking while playing a very social yet competitive game of golf. Men historically don’t like to play golf with women because they say: women never stop talking, women don’t understand the etiquette of golf, or women don’t know how to play fast.

You will learn everything you need to know about using golf as another tool in your business growth toolkit.
