Night Hike on the McKenzie Preserve
Come explore the night life on the McKenzie Preserve! This is a 4 mile hike following the Discovery Trail for most of the way. Special attention will be given to the nocturnal animal life on the preserve, with Docents Sue Stone and Katie Phillips discussing the natural history of the animals along the way.
There are very limited spots available, with a minimum age requirement of 12, and only one guest slot available per person. Required gear for the hike includes a flashlight (red light preferred) and/or headlamp. Make sure to bring water, food/snacks as appropriate, and dress in layers.
**Though the gate will remain locked during the event, we ask that you please not leave anything valuable in your vehicle.**
