Course content will include:

9.00-9.20 - Overview of GPR Theory
9.20-9.40 - Basic of Concrete Scanning
9.40-10.15 - Overview of case studies and issues for Concrete Scanning
10.15-10.30 - Morning Tea
Practical10.30-11.30 - 20 minutes at separate 3 stations to test different aspects of the craft
11.30-12.00 - Assessment - questions on theory and practice
12.00-1.00 - Lunch Break for attendees of both sections. Lunch will be provided.
Underground Asset Location Section
Course content will include:
1.00-1.20 - Overview of GPR Theory
1.20-1.40 - Basics of Underground Asset Location
1.40-2.15 - Overview of case studies and issues for Underground Asset Location
2.15-2.30 - Afternoon Tea
Practical2.30-4.30 - 40 minutes at 3 separate stations to test different aspects of the craft
4.30-5.00 - Assessment - questions on theory and practice
Ground Penetrating Radar for Concrete Structures and Underground Asset Location
Over the past 10 years we have been happy to bring our customers a range technical events to both show off our equipment and transfer important knowledge. This November we are pleased to offer a new development in our event programme.
We will be presenting the training course “Ground Penetrating Radar for Concrete Structures and Underground Asset Location”. As well as providing excellent background and theoretical information about these techniques we will also be providing hands on experience with each device. During the course you will be required to perform and report results from our testing zones.
We will also be carrying out an assessment and issuing certificates of competency for each device. We will have a host of equipment so every person gets a chance to try the gear out themselves. This is fantastic for people considering Ground Penetrating Radar hire as no additional training will be needed before an initial system hire.
The course will be offered in two parts. In the morning we will focus on GPR for Concrete and in the afternoon we will concentrate on Underground Asset location. You are free to attend either or both.
The course will take place on the 16th of Nov from 9am at Ryde Eastwood Leagues Club in West Ryde.
There will be a nominal charge of $50 ex GST for attendance in each section (ie $100 ex GST for the full day) but the value of the course will be much more.
