Silicon Valley Green Team Fall Forum 

The Fall Forum theme is "Greening the Holidays" and it will feature a "5 for 5" interactive session with Q&A, as well as Earth Day and sustainable event planning workshops, to help you make this holiday season a more sustainable one! Finally, the event will conclude with a happy hour networking reception and sustainable wine tasting.

There is no fee to attend this event. As a nonprofit, Acterra relies on the support of companies, like our sponsor Symantec and our host Prospect Silicon Valley, and individuals (like you!) through membership. Consider becoming a member today!

Breakout Session Details

Preparing for Earth Day. Earth Day is a great opportunity to reinvigorate Green Teams and engage other employees on sustainability topics! This workshop will provide tips for successful Earth Day events and opportunities to discuss how to build an Earth Day event around a powerful theme.

Planning a Sustainable Event. The holiday season is full of opportunities to celebrate with coworkers, family, and friends. What can we do to help our companies and families celebrate the holidays sustainably? For this workshop, small teams will brainstorm creative ideas for planning a sustainable event.

Prospect Silicon Valley Facility Tour. ProspectSV is a nonprofit urbantech innovation hub focused on solutions for sustainable, smart cities. ProspectSV will offer a tour of this innovative work space, highlighting some of the technical startups working on solutions for sustainable transportation options.
