Kathy Gunst  will read from her new book, talk about the importance of sharing meals with family and friends and take your questions about her cookbooks, work on public radio and more. Gunst will share the ideas in her new book, Soup Swap, such as the traditions of soup and hosting soup swaps, a new model of entertaining where everyone brings a pot of soup to a party, and goes home with a variety of leftovers--  instead of being stuck with the same old pot of soup for the week. She'll also share some samples of the recipes found in her latest book.

Kathy Gunst is a James Beard Award winning journalist. She is the Resident Chef for NPR's Here and Now, heard on over 500 public radio stations. She is the author of 15 cookbooks and writes for the Washington Post, Eating Well, Yankee, and more. She lives in Southern Maine.
