Join October Road and Jonathan Jay Esslinger, LPC, LCAS for Cognitive Behavioral Therapy on Friday, October 7 from 8:30 AM - 3:45 PM. Training attendees will receive 6 credit hours (NBCC, NASW, NCSAPPB approved.) Training cost is $50/attendee.

About Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
This training is designed for social workers, psychologists, counselors, and other community-based mental health providers who wish to improve their skills with cognitive behavioral therapy.

Attendees will:

• Learn the history of CBT
• Discover and practice utilizing CBT techniques from first through third wave therapies
• Learn how to apply emotional knowledge as a tool for assisting individuals in their recovery
• Learn to utilize handouts and worksheets to improve your work with individuals

About Jonathan Jay Esslinger, LPC, LCAS
Jon Jay Esslinger has more than ten years of experience in the mental health field and has long-term experience training other individuals in a variety of modalities and areas, including group and classroom management, relationship counseling, and cognitive behavioral therapy.
