American Clergy Leadership Conference Event
We are pleased to invite you and your guests to a special Pastors' Prayer Breakfast, Entitled, "Structuring Your Church for Growth" Saturday, October 1, 2016, hosted by Rev. Dr. Calvin Rice and the New Jerusalem Worship Center.
The keynote speaker will be the Rev. Dr. Calvin Rice, Senior Pastor of the vibrant and growing New Jerusalem Worship Center in Jamaica, Queens. Prior to his coming to New Jerusalem, Dr. Rice was the pastor of the prestigious First Central Baptist Church of Staten Island. While at Central, the church membership grew from 35 to more than 2,500 members.
We look forward to seeing you at this month's "ACLC Prayer Breakfast" where we will experience inspiration and encouragement in this supportive network of clergy, as we discover some new tools for church growth.
Dr. Rice worked in management at Proctor and Gamble for 18 years, and he has applied many of the principles of the corporate culture to growing and developing a church. He has licensed, ordained and mentored 33 ministers. Under Dr. Rice’s leadership the church’s multi-million dollar edifice was completed and church membership has steadily grown. Two services are now required every Sunday.
Dr. Rice is married to Willie Mae Rice. They have been married for 45 years, and have three adult children and five grandchildren.
