Bonsai Exhibit - Artfully Designed Miniature Trees

Enter the world of miniature trees during the Yakima Valley Bonsai Society's annual Bonsai Exhibit.

Bonsai refers to the training and artistic vision applied to a tree; ultimately giving the illusion of an aged miniature tree in nature.  Literally translated "bon-sai" means "planted in a container".

"Bonsai is not a race, nor is it a destination. It is a never-ending journey." -Unknown

Bonsai 'Azalea' The exhibit will feature artistically designed alpine firs, larches, yews, and maple trees.   Expect to see trees in training, live demonstrations, stone exhibits, trees for sale, and a tree raffle.  Vote for your favorite tree!
