Visual Storytelling with Jacob Chase

Join us for a presentation on Visual Storytelling with Palm Springs International ShortFest alum Jacob Chase. Jacob has written films for The Jim Henson Company, Cirque du Soleil, Amazon Studios, and others. He has had two shorts play locally at ShortFest: the Neil LaBute penned slice-of-life film After-School Special (SF11) starring Sarah Paulson and Wes Bentley and Amy (SF15) starring Alex Karpovsky (Girls) and Troian Bellisario (Pretty Little Liars). Most recently, he won the 2016 Crash the Super Bowl contest with his commercial Doritos Dogs. Jacob will discuss working in the short form and telling stories visually. The evening will include a selection of his work.
